THE HOUSE – Where It All Began

July 2024. The lowest point of my life. I picked up charcoal and pencil and painted this image for over a year. Every time tears came, I painted.

A house. But look closer. Hidden in the image are figures – my fears. The deep black forest – my thoughts. The house itself – my ego, keeping me trapped.

I wanted to run away, but I couldn't. I wanted to take a different path, but fear was stronger. So I painted. Stroke by stroke. Tear by tear.
